GB track vest holder and heliborne paramedic

Paul joins us to talk about his journey to ultra running from his first marathon to competing in the IAU 24 Hour World Championships in Albi, France.

In his day (and often night) job, Paul's role as a paramedic as part of the team onboard the Cornwall Air Ambulance provides a safety net for the county's residents and visitors. When he's on the ground however Paul has quietly established a reputation for delivering blistering and consistent pace across 100k, 100 mile on trails and the 24hr format on the track.

During our chat we he how he juggles his demanding work schedule with training and family life and we discuss what's on his horizon and the sport emerges from the disruption of Covid and he targets a return to competition.
